Guests tasted fine food and Portuguese wine at the first Cotswold Life Business & Hotel du Vin Supper Club and tasted a selection of dishes from their new menu.
A fantastic evening with great service and delicious food was enjoyed in the relaxed yet luxurious surrounding of Cheltenham’s boutique hotel.
Charcutiere platter – a selection of homemade terrine, cured meats, pickles and Dijon mustard, Saint-Maure goat’s cheese and caramelised baby onion quiche and escargot – snails in garlic and parsley butter
Soupe a l’oignon – classic French onion soup
Roast cod and braised puy lentils, button onions and pancetta
Cassoulet classique – a casserole of white beans, confit duck, smoked Toulouse sausage and pancetta
An assiette of desserts – profiteroles du vin with ice-cream, tarte au citron with raspberry sorbet and crème brulee
