The last event, the Northamptonshire Business, Expo was a great success

A business exhibition is coming to Oxfordshire in October

The Oxfordshire Business Safari will take place at The Manor Country House Hotel in Bicester on Thursday October 5 from 10am to 4pm and is expected to attract hundreds of visitors.

The event will feature 30 exhibitors showcasing a wide variety of business products and services. There will also be networking opportunities for visitors and free workshops led by successful small business owners including Oxfordshire-based chartered accountants Whitley Stimpson; Anjana Rajani of Power 2 Progress, an executive development and training organisation; and business coach Vivienne Joy.

Event organiser, Sheila Smith, said: “I was contacted by The Manor Country House Hotel. They were keen to host a business exhibition and a mutual contact of ours suggested they get in touch with me after seeing first-hand our successful business expos in Northamptonshire.

“Our last event - the Northamptonshire Business Expo - saw 53 businesses exhibit and attracted 200 visitors. Whilst these numbers were great, it was the buzz of the event that really made it a success. Each stand brought something different to the exhibition – we had selfie frames and funny face mats, a popcorn maker, a giveaway of tickets to New York, and even a table tennis table set up! Everyone had a blast!”

And it looks like the Oxfordshire Business Safari will be just the same with more than 50% of exhibition spaces already sold and Joseph Taylor Pianos, the preferred supplier of pianos to Jamie Cullum and Blenheim Palace, will be in attendance. Other exhibitors confirmed so far include Events in a Box, SK Energy, Harmonisation, BBX, A and R Print, Apertus Group, Ewe Move, MBHR and Amazing Aloe.

Local networking organisation, The Oxfordshire Project, are also hosting a networking lunch as part of the day’s activities.

“We are delighted to support the Oxfordshire Business Safari,” said Svetlina Jeanneret of The Oxfordshire Project. “We’re looking forward to offering a platform for exhibitors and visitors alike to network in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. It will be a great opportunity for businesses to make new connections and showcase their products and services.”

“I am so excited to be bringing an event like this to Oxfordshire,” adds Sheila. “I came up with the safari concept after viewing The Manor Country House Hotel and being inspired by the décor and that the exhibition will be spread over several rooms that visitors will travel through as they work their way around. It promises to be a great event and bring the Oxfordshire business community together to make new contacts, develop existing relationships and encourage more business to be done within the county.”

The Oxfordshire Business Safari is free to attend on the day. Exhibition stand spaces cost £250 and can be booked online at www.eventssmith.co.uk. To find out more about the event, contact Sheila Smith on hello@eventssmith.co.uk / 07809 635181 or Kate Denne on kate@kdva.co.uk / 07940 520841.
