“We’re delighted to have Mark on board. With nearly four decades of experience supporting clients at one of the ‘big four’ banks, we will benefit from his knowledge of businesses, their needs, pressures and opportunities.”

One of the region’s most experienced and well-connected businessmen, Mark Robinson, has joined BPE Solicitors as a consultant. Having worked for Lloyds Banking Group for almost 40 years, most recently as a Relationship Director in the Corporate Banking Team, Mark is ideally placed to share his market insight with the Cheltenham-headquartered legal practice.

As one of the UK’s Top 200 law firms, BPE’s specialist lawyers provide expert advice to leading businesses of all sizes, from entrepreneurial fast-growing firms in the region, to some of the largest companies nationwide. Mark’s role will see him connecting with businesses to determine how best BPE may support clients with legal advice, based on their priorities and challenges.

Commenting on his new role, Mark said: “For many years I have had the privilege to meet and talk with company owners and directors about the challenges they face at every stage of the business lifecycle, from start-up and high growth businesses, to the long-established success stories of our regional economy. What impresses me about BPE is the breadth of expertise and commerciality, whether advising on growth, planning for exit, taking on property, or supporting firms to recruit and retain the very best talent.

“Great relationships underscore that expertise, and I’m delighted to play my part alongside BPE colleagues in developing new relationships.”

John Workman, Senior Partner at BPE, commented: “We’re delighted to have Mark on board. With nearly four decades of experience supporting clients at one of the ‘big four’ banks, we will benefit from his knowledge of businesses, their needs, pressures and opportunities. We have worked with Mark for years and we know his quality and his approach – he will fit right in!”
