Bamboo makes three new appointments

“These three new appointments and our recent 20th birthday celebrations showcase the direction Bamboo is heading in the future. With investment in our talent at the forefront of our development, strengthening our existing teams with Kevin, Jo and Toby we are looking forward to what the next 20 years brings.”

Following continued success and growth, Bamboo Technology Group is pleased to announce three new appointments to further extend its expertise and support future growth.

Kevin Harris joins the team as Development Director, Jo Cracknell brings three decades of M2M experience to her new role as M2M Business Development Manager and Toby Aiken boosts the marketing team with 12 years in PR and communications.

Kevin has worked in a number of sectors including engineering, architectural preservation and deconstruction, construction and civil engineering. He also chairs Constructing Excellence Gloucestershire and sits on the leadership council of Constructing Excellence South West. With a skillset and experience that fits perfectly with Bamboo’s business objectives, Kevin will be instrumental in helping to deliver their plans for further development.

With three decades of experience in electrical engineering and knowledge based on the very foundations of the Internet of Things (IoT), Jo is an exciting addition to the growing dynamic team at Bamboo and will help SME owners to harness the full power of the IoT for their businesses. Working as part of the IoT team Jo, along with her colleagues, developed solutions to speed up credit card transactions so that they could be processed in a matter of seconds over GPRS, rather than minutes. With her track record, she has high hopes for developing the M2M offering with Bamboo.

Toby joins us from a background in one of Cheltenham’s top PR agencies and brings more than a decade of PR and communications experience to develop a new role in the marketing team. Supporting all areas of the business, he will bring his experience of working with a range of sectors over the years to help raise the profile of Bamboo Technology and the services they have to offer.

Bamboo Managing Director Lorrin White, said: “These three new appointments and our recent 20th birthday celebrations showcase the direction Bamboo is heading in the future. With investment in our talent at the forefront of our development, strengthening our existing teams with Kevin, Jo and Toby we are looking forward to what the next 20 years brings.

“With Kevin’s experience in developing teams, Jo’s unparalleled knowledge and experience of the Internet of Things and Toby’s PR expertise, our brilliant team continues to grow stronger. With digital transformation high on the business agenda, we are always improving our services and developing new software and solutions as well as the connectivity to support the integration of ICT with other business operations. All three have fitted perfectly into our existing team of dedicated specialists who constantly work to improve the service we deliver to our customers.”
