BAM receives Great Place to Work accolade

PUBLISHED: 16:02 05 June 2014

BAM Agency Ltd, based in Cheltenham, has been recognised as one of the UK’s best workplaces by the prestigious Great Place to Work® Institute UK, 2014.

The industry-leading student marketing agency triumphed at this year’s awards held at The Brewery, London, on May 20 and was awarded fourth place in the Top 25 Small Business category.

Driven by a dynamic and passionate Senior Management Team, led by Managing Director Tim Bodenham, BAM is a niche, values-driven agency with great vision. BAM’s entry focused on the company’s values – passion, integrity and responsibility, continuous learning, good business practice and respect.

First within its sector category, BAM is the highest ranking of only five marketing and advertising agencies to make the Top 25. BAM was recognised for its outstanding communication with staff, open-room policy, and simply taking the time to say ‘thank you’. Involving the staff in developing their own performance goals, regular one-to-one management support and a high performance culture have seen increasing levels of employee engagement.

In addition, extra staff perks include: BAMiversary celebrations, weekly BAM Bar Time in their own lounge, and a pamper room for beauty and relaxation treatments.

“We are so proud to be recognised for our outstanding achievements not only as an employer, but also as a highly successful marketing agency,” says Tim Bodenham, Managing Director.

“We have devoted a great deal of time towards ensuring that values are as important as performance. The importance of this vision was not just the accreditation itself, but a means to channel our focus and benchmark our achievements in developing the engagement and culture of BAM.”

The Great Place to Work Institute UK is part of the world’s largest consultancy specialising in helping organisations build high trust, high engagement workplaces.
