Omega Resource Group join us in the launch of the new recruitment section in Cotswold Life.

Founded in 1998, Omega Resource Group plc was established to build progressive long term client partnerships in the management of contract, temporary, and permanent recruitment.

Omega is an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001 accredited business that has achieved many business awards; they are acknowledged as one of the most innovate and successful international service providers in the recruitment industry covering the technical, engineering and industrial sectors.

Omegas Gloucestershire based Headquarters are supported by regional and international offices located in the UK, Poland, Qatar, India and the Philippines. Despite a currently tough employment market, the locally based company now employs 115 permanent members of staff and predicts temporary workers to peak at 2,000 per week this year during peak periods and the Group is forecasting substantial growth this year.

Such growth is a direct reflection of the slightly improving market and Managing Director Alan Beresford said: The sectors driving demand are predominantly manufacturing, engineering, distribution and general production. Notably within manufacturing and engineering its the automotive, aerospace and oil & gas sectors which are the busiest and the outlook for temporary and permanent employment is at the moment encouraging.

The company has also recently launched an executive search division indicating that even at the most senior level of the market there is activity, and momentum in industry seems to be building.
