Goughs - the only law firm in Wiltshire accredited by MASS

Wiltshire based law firm Goughs is proud to announce that they are the only solicitorsin Wiltshire to gain accreditation from the Motor Accident Solicitors Society (MASS).

MASS is a leading authority in road traffic accidents claims and through its strict code of conduct promotes only those members that offer the highest standards of legal services to their clients.

Personal injury solicitor Hannah Carr is the firms accredited MASS member and since being admitted as a solicitor in 2005 has specialised in helping victims of road traffic accidents.

Hannah commented I am delighted to be a member of such an influential organisation as MASS. Our accreditation not only allows us to provide an ever improving service to our clients, but can also help raise awareness of national issues at a local level.

This is well illustrated in the recent increase we have seen in third-party capture, where people injured in road traffic accidents are being approached directly by motor insurers to settle their claim without the involvement of a solicitor.

Quite often this results in the injured person recovering significantly less compensation than they may actually have been entitled to and would have achieved, if they had received legal advice and been properly represented.

Both MASS and Goughs are concerned about this practice and seek to gain a fair deal for all victims of road traffic accidents.

Hannah is based in the firms Chippenham office and runs a free drop in clinic every Thursday morning at their Devizes office.
