Adams Cotswold well-wishers

Visitors to Adam Hensons Cotswold Farm Park have been donating their loose change by the bucket load to help children in Darfur.

The Cotswold Farm Park has been raising funds for Kids for Kids in Darfur at feeding time for the past three years, and visitors also donate by making a wish and throwing coins into the farms popular Wishing Well. The latest haul from the well totalled over 800!

The charity has been able to put the thousands of pounds raised to great use in Darfur, funding projects that help some of the most deprived children in the world as they go about their daily struggle for the simple things that we take for granted.

Everyone at the farm has worked so hard to help support the charity, and newly retired manager Tony Fisher was the brains behind the operation, while his colleague Dave Wilson volunteered to go down the well to rescue the coins.

Adam Hensons generosity has not stopped there. In September, Kids for Kids is holding an auction of artwork drawn by celebrities and is delighted that Adam has agreed to draw a picture for the auction. And its subject? A goat of course!

Adam Hensons picture will be auctioned on September 15 in Central London by Lord Archer along with drawings from HRH Prince Charles, Andrew Marr and Joanna Lumley.
