Under the ownership of Chob and David Evans, The Siam Smile celebrated its 12th year in business recently.

The Siam Smile has recently been refurbished so they took the opportunity to celebrate the anniversary and the refurbishment together. As Chob says, It is always good to share these occasions with regular customers and friends as it creates a different rapport from the usual dining experience.

From time to time it is traditional in Thai culture for Buddhist monks to perform a good luck blessing on homes or business premises, so we decided to combine a blessing as part of this occasion.

The Siam Smile, 12 Suffolk Road, Cheltenham GL50 2AQ, tel: 01242 260666.

  • We visit the Siam Smile Restaurant frequently, their food is delicious and a warm welcome smile from all the staff there. We also use their take-away side of the business - and I am given a welome pot of tea whilst I am waiting. We love the new decor too - from Sandra Parsons, customer.
