Around 380 finalists, guests and sponsors including Matthew Fort, Prue Leith and Adam Henson joined Cotswold Life magazine for the ninth annual Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards at Cheltenham Racecourse on Monday July 4.

Around 380 finalists, guests and sponsors including Matthew Fort, Prue Leith and Adam Henson joined Cotswold Life magazine for the ninth annual Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards at Cheltenham Racecourse on Monday July 4. The Cotswold Chef, Rob Rees praised local foodies and spoke about the importance of local produce in the area.

Steve Knibbs from BBC Points West hosted the nail-biting ceremony for the third year running. Main sponsor Warners Budgens and associate partners Cheltenham Racecourse, Oeno Wines and Cotswold TV were amongst the sponsors in attendance. The menu included produce from a plethora of local suppliers including Coln Valley Smokery, Ensors of Gloucestershire and Over Farm Market.

The award winners each received a plaque, some beautiful flowers from Rose Hamson Flowers and a bottle of Laurent Perrier Champagne. All guests took home a gift bag of local goodies.
