CORSHAM CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ON FRIDAY 02 DECEMBER 2011

Come and make a wish at Corsham Town Council's Wishing Tree event, from 10am-1pm, on Saturday 26 November. Everyone's invited to come along to the High Street and write down their Christmas wish.

Come and make a wish at Corsham Town Councils Wishing Tree event, from 10am-1pm, on Saturday 26 November. Everyones invited to come along to the High Street and write down their Christmas wish. The wishes will then get hung on the tree for Father Christmas to find next time hes passing!


And, then, on 2 December, its the towns traditional, family-friendly Christmas Lights Switch On, from 5.15pm at the Town Hall. Father Christmas will be making an appearance, along with his reindeer. Therell be dancing penguins, a Christmas Market along the High Street and lots, lots more to enjoy.


This year were looking for even more community involvement. If you or your local community group would like to come along and join in please contact us. We would love to have more entertainers and performers taking part.

Community Artist Mazy Bartlett has been busy as always working together with local schoolchildren and members of her various Corsham craft clubs. This year they have been creating Father Christmas reindeer to go on some of the properties in Corsham. Look out and see which reindeer you can spot.


Local traders have also been invited to take part in the annual Christmas Window Competition which, for 2011, has a Festive Animal theme.


Corsham really is the place for a family-friendly, traditional start to the festive period.
