Gloucester Quays Outlet Shopping is bringing an array of Christmas festivities to the historic Gloucester Docks this winter with its annual Festive Fayre, from Friday, December 13 to Sunday, December 15. And this year, to celebrate the launch of the brand new 10-screen Cineworld cinema, on Friday, December 1, and the release of The Desolation of Smaug, the second thrilling installment of The Hobbit Trilogy, the iconic fayre will have a distinct twist in the form of a mythical and magical themed event.

Spanning the Quay’s waterside area, the as Gloucester Quays Outlet’s Festive Fayre will transform the Outlet’s outdoor spaces into a bustling market space. Watch as a magical cast of fantasy creatures, including wizards, elves, goblins, orcs, knights in armour and even a smoke-breathing dragon entertain the crowds. There will also be live music to enjoy while exploring around 80 decorated stalls selling distinctive, artisan yuletide gifts and award-winning food and drink, plus delicious hot food-to-go and warming mulled wines and ciders.

This seasonal event brings the spirit of Christmas alive, with an enchanting market full of wonderful Christmas finds. This year is no exception, as the tempting stalls boast the finest seasonal produce from around the country and even further afield. From sweet and savory chutneys, cheese specialists, artisan chocolates, fudge and Christmas cake to handmade Christmas cards, bespoke calendars and even handcrafted furniture and art.
