Archant

For over 10 years, Kirsti has been making Winchcombe a more beautiful place by sharing her passion and knowledge of Beauty Therapy.

It all started at the age of 16 when she completed a 2-year Beauty training programme and she has been bringing out the best in others ever since. Through years of working with high profile clients and celebrities in a variety of salons, cruise ships, and hotels, Kirsti gained an incredible amount of experience and an impeccable understanding of the Beauty industry. She decided to pursue a teaching degree, loving it so much that she went on to teach NVQ Level 1, 2, and 3 at Evesham College. When a beauty salon in Winchcombe came up for sale, she jumped at the chance to realise her dreams!

Epitome of luxury

As a luxurious professional salon set in the heart of the Cotswolds, Beauty Beyond has eight private treatment rooms. Cleanliness and exceptional customer service keeps the clients coming back for more, as do the award-winning skincare treatments, high-quality skincare products, and Caci non-surgical face lifts. With over 25 years of experience, Kirsti always maintains the highest of possible standards, staying up to date on the latest treatments and products with regular trips to London and offering her outstanding beauticians 1-2-1 training to continuously hone their industry knowledge. She always goes above and beyond to ensure that each treatment is special, even if that means personally going to the bride to provide an exquisite wedding day makeover. Kirsti’s dedication to high level customer care has helped her business thrive, and now Beauty Beyond is proudly celebrating its 10th birthday!

A Fantastic Birthday Event

Held on Monday, 4th July at the Wesley House in Winchcombe

The exclusive guest list comprised of almost 100 of Beyond Beauty’s most loyal clients. Guests were greeted with champagne on arrival and the first 10 people received a free facial and everybody received a fabulous goodie bag. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food and the lively music from the sax player, but the highlight of the evening was the raffle. Everyone in the area donated prizes, and there were around 30 gifts to give away, which raised over £1,500 for ovarian cancer, a cause that is very dear to Kirsti’s heart since her mum was only 53 when she succumbed to the disease. The loss of her mum solidified her belief that life is too short, which is one of the reasons she bought the salon.

Just 10 minutes from Cheltenham and 5 minutes from the car park, Beauty Beyond is open 6 days a week and open late on Tuesday through to Friday. To find out more call 01242 604 017 or visit beautybeyondwinchcombe.co.uk.

It is the highest town in Oxfordshire, was once a major industrial hive for wool and tweed, took part in the rather bizarre ritual of wife selling in the mid 19th century and is home to the ‘Aspirin Man’. Chipping Norton is certainly a colourful place, full of character and charm whilst maintaining a down-to-earth friendliness. I took my mum, dad and daughter number three with me to explore this vibrant little Cotswold town and had a few surprises of my own

We’re surrounded by oceans of plastic; and so are the oceans. Our plastic bags are clogging Earth’s waters; microplastics are entering the food-chain, as birds, fish and other creatures mistakenly feed off them; even wildlife nearer to home – in the Cotswolds themselves – is killed and poisoned by this litter. So is it possible to live without plastic? And will that save the Earth? Katie Jarvis has no idea – but she tries it for a week
