BOTTLE PR bolsters its team

PUBLISHED: 15:14 14 June 2013 | UPDATED: 15:14 14 June 2013

After a great start to 2013, including a flurry of award wins, customer wins, and an office move, BOTTLE PR has recruited two new consultants to join its growing team of magnetic staff. Alexandra Thompson from FWD PR joins as Account Director in the B2B team, and Viki Coppin from WRAP joins as Account Manager in the Social Media team. Alexandra has a strong background in financial and insurance PR, having spent four years at the Chartered Insurance Institute, looking after its PR and that of the personal finance division the Personal Finance Society. At FWD she was fundamental in establishing the financial division and managed a number of its insurance clients. She will join the AXA PPP healthcare team at BOTTLE, as well leading a number of BOTTLE’s clients in its growing financial portfolio.

Viki comes from an in-house background having worked in a number of communications roles from PR, to marketing and digital media over the past 11 years. Recently she spent six years in WRAP, a government-funded organisation promoting behavioural change around resource efficiency, where she worked in a digital communications role promoting recycling and food waste prevention. She will be managing the social media channels for some of BOTTLE’s most exciting FMCG clients, including Organix, Shoezone and DYLON.

Will Cairns, Managing Director of BOTTLE said: “It’s an incredibly exciting time here at BOTTLE and we are well on track to becoming the leading PR agency outside of London. But to achieve this goal as quickly as possible we need to recruit the best in the industry. Both Alexandra and Viki excelled in what was a very competitive interview process and we are confident that they have exactly the right skills and personality to hit the ground running and deliver great results for our clients.”

BOTTLE is a multi-award winning communications consultancy focused on making PR accountable though excellence. In 2012 and 2011 we were named Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy of the Year at the CIPR PRide Awards and were awarded the number one spot for client recommendations at the Recommended Agency Register Awards. Our 30-strong team provides strategically led, creative programmes. Focused entirely on ‘who do you want to reach?’, and the changes in behaviours or attitudes required, we identify influencer networks - ‘the few that matter the most’ – to reach the wider audience. Our award-winning campaigns embrace both ‘traditional’ and ‘digital PR’ disciplines for a diverse and enviable client base spanning consumer, business-to-business and government. BOTTLE is based in Oxfordshire.
