There’s one new-build project particularly close to Fiona Fullerton’s heart that has nothing to do with making money.

For she’s a dedicated supporter of the Cotswold Care Hospice, based in Minchinhampton, currently raising more than £2 million for a new building. The extra space will double the number of therapy rooms and provide more areas for counselling and therapies for people with life-threatening illnesses.

“There isn’t anywhere like it in the area,” Fiona says. “It provides an enormous amount of comfort and solace, not just to patients but to their families as well. Nor is it a sad place: it has a lovely positive atmosphere.”

Fiona lives with her husband, Neil Shackell, and their children, James, 17, and Lucy, 11.

You can read about Fiona's Cotswold life in December's issue of Cotswold Life magazine.
