Hamptons International, the premier residential agent operating in the UK and overseas is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park for the ninth consecutive year.

The event, which takes place in the surroundings of Gatcombe Park, the private country home of HRH Anne The Princess Royal and her family, will be held between the 13th and 15th July, two weeks earlier than usual due to London 2012 Olympics.

The event is renowned for hosting the worlds best horses and riders competing at the highest level and includes a combination of dressage, show jumping & cross country; with Olympic hopefuls such as William Fox-Pitt and Mary King competing at Gatcombe this year, it is set to be even more exciting, particularly as it is the last official warm up event ahead of the London 2012 Olympics later in July.

Andrew Marshall, Regional Sales Director at Hamptons International comments; The Festival of British Eventing, at the stunning Gatcombe Park, is a world renowned event among equestrian enthusiasts and the general public alike and Hamptons International is delighted to have the opportunity to support this event for the ninth consecutive year.

The weekend is a perfect way to showcase British Eventing incorporating the British Open, Intermediate and Novice Championships demonstrating talent and sporting excellence, getting everyone in the spirit for London 2012! As well as a weekend of top class eventing there will be a shopping village, arena attractions and entertainment for all the family.

Hamptons International will have a full hospitality unit at the event and will offer activities and entertainment for children, leaving adults free to take advantage of expert advice on the current property market and look at a selection of properties currently available for sale and let.
