Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court’s first ever Winter Ball, sponsored by Pulhams Coaches, is being held on December 11 to help raise much needed funds for the local hospice charity.

Leckhampton Court, which provides the only in patient palliative care service for people in the county from its specialist unit just outside Cheltenham, needs to raise £1.6 million every year.

The inaugural charity Winter Ball is a key fundraising event for the hospice this year and takes place at Pittville Pump Rooms, Cheltenham with live music from local rock and pop band The Chip Shop Boys.

Tickets are still available, with sparkling drinks reception, sumptuous three course meal with wine and exclusive charity auction and raffle.

All proceeds will help the hospice provide care for local families.

Elise Hoadley, Director of Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice said, “When a loved one is diagnosed with a life limiting condition, specialist care and support for the whole family is needed. We must raise £1.6 million through donations and voluntary income every year so we can provide this type of care in Gloucestershire.”

“This is the first time we have ever held a Winter Ball, and we hope it will raise much needed funds towards this total whilst offering a fabulous opportunity for people to celebrate Christmas with loved ones, friends and colleagues in magical surroundings.”

Andrew Pulham, Director of Pulhams Coaches who are sponsoring the event said, “Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court provided outstanding care to my sister, Sarah Pulham and to the whole family at a very difficult time. We are thrilled to be able to support Sue Ryder by sponsoring this event and in doing so Sarah’s memory lives on.”

Bespoke table and ticket packages are offered. For more details please call 01242 246285 or email leckhampton.fundraising@sueryder.org
