Enjoy a festive filled extravaganza at Bristol Hippodrome this Christmas

Enjoy a festive filled extravaganza at Bristol Hippodrome this Christmas

Get ready to laugh, boo and hiss, and cheer on your favourite childhood heroes in the array of pantomimes coming to Cotswold theatres this Christmas.

Only at the pantomime can you bellow at the stage, boo as the villain concocts their latest scheme and cheer on the heroes alongside their hapless sidekicks. A childhood tradition, you can rely on a Christmas pantomime to make you laugh and truly get you into the festive spirit. No matter what shenanigans arise, the hero and heroine finally find each other, evil doers are vanquished and all is right at the end!

The pantomime offers audiences a reassuringly familiar experience; however, this doesn’t mean theatres won’t be putting a special twist on their productions. From Coronation Street’s Ryan Thomas in Wyvern Theatre’s Cinderella to Torvill and Dean appearing at the Bristol Hippodrome, there’s plenty of famous faces to spot. Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella are popular productions this year but you can also enjoy the adventures of Aladdin, Robinson Crusoe and Robin Hood at various theatres.
