Local Tea/Coffee Shop of the Year
Winner – Badgers Hall, Chipping Campden
Badgers Hall, owned by Paul and Karen, is a traditional English Tea Room, Eatery and B&B in the pretty village of Chipping Campden. You can enjoy a morning tea and coffee in this charming 16th Century Cotswold stone building and only the very strong willed will be able to resist the mouth watering temptation of the freshly made cream cakes. Cream teas are served all day, and their Tea on a Tier, which features an array of homemade savoury and sweet treats to accompany your cup of tea, is also served daily.
Badgers Hall was praised by judges for their attention to detail with regards to their menu and the use of locally sourced products. All the judges were impressed by how accommodating the staff were and their knowledge of the items on offer.
Highly Commended – Café Mosaic, Cirencester
Highly Commended – Sherborne Village Shop & Tea Room, Sherborne
