Finalists for this category were country pubs and dining pubs who combined a perfect package of customer service, value for money and high quality food

Best Pub Restaurant

Winner - The Horse and Groom, Bourton on the Hill

Headed by brothers Will and Tom Greenstock for over 10 years, The Horse and Groom at Bourton on the Hill is a traditional Cotswold inn with a reputation for excellent food and equally good service. Food is at the heart of the business and every effort is made for local ingredients to be sourced from small Cotswold producers or foraged from the surrounding countryside. The inspired blackboard menu changes daily to allow the dishes to showcase the freshest seasonal ingredients. Plus, the bar champions local ales – expect to find beers from breweries based in and around the Cotswolds.

The Horse and Groom was praised by judges for being very welcoming with a vibrant and busy atmosphere. Judges commented that the establishment supported a number of local breweries and the extensive menu had something for everyone.

Highly Commended - The Kingham Plough, Kingham

Highly Commended - The Mount Inn, Stanton
