Since opening in October 2014 we have built a reputation for great food in our relaxed dining atmosphere. One of our owners, Jon Furby, is head of the kitchen and his seasonal menus are bringing the best of the West Country’s offerings to the table.

As a food focused Inn our aim is to deliver a special experience on all fronts – not only lunch and dinner but also house-made cakes in the mornings and freshly baked scones for the afternoon cream teas.

Jon’s menus are created from fresh, seasonal ingredients in order to serve great tasting dishes from honest foods - rustic, modern British best describes our dishes. We source our produce from local suppliers here in the West to ensure that the food process is traceable, and supporting sustainable farmers, growers and butchers.

Our list of drinks are carefully selected brands, while offering the odd familiar favourite we also present some fantastic artisan refreshments. Our wines are picked to compliment our menu and offer great value.

This year sees us developing the overgrown, wild paddock into a kitchen garden. On top of producing their own fruit, veg and herbs, we are looking into rearing our own livestock to add to our menu some time soon, through the owners (Jack & Tom Nicholas) Family farm located 5 minutes away.
