The Lucky Onion’s (www.theluckyonion.com) No131 has launched an exciting new breakfast menu packed with delicious new dishes and drinks.

Whether it’s a quick freshly squeezed juice before work, a coffee from Monmouth Coffee Roasters and a homemade pastry with friends in the drawing room overlooking Imperial Gardens, or a feast-style breakfast for a business meeting in one of the beautiful private dining rooms, No131’s new breakfast menu has something for everyone.

If you’re looking to indulge yourself, head for the ‘Hearty’ section and pick the hog’s pudding with a fried duck egg, or the eggs Benedict with honey and mustard glazed ham. Healthy dishes such as smashed avocado, steamed bulgar wheat and a poached hen’s egg sit high on the menu, or the grilled Severn & Wye kipper, grilled tomatoes & anchovy butter offers a nutritious alternative.

At No131 they source from farmers they know and trust, with high standards of animal welfare, focusing on the best possible quality ingredients, such as kippers from the Severn and Wye Smokehouse in Hereford, eggs from Cackleberry Farm in Burford, and Wiltshire cured bacon from Sandridge Farm House in Chippenham. You know that you are buying quality and provenance made by passionate chefs, some of whom have been awarded Michelin stars or Bib Gourmands.

They’ve also introduced a good selection of freshly squeezed juices, using fresh, seasonal vegetables and fruit. Try the ‘Purple Juice’ with beetroot, orange, carrot and ginger, or if you’re feeling like a cheeky tipple to start the day, head to the cocktail section.
