Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards - Local Tea/Coffee Shop of the Year Award

Archant

With so much competition, this was not an easy decision to make. But we’re pleased to announce we have picked a winner worthy of the ‘Best Local Tea/Coffee Shop of the Year’ title...

The Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards are one of the biggest events in the local calendar and it is hugely anticipated by the region’s food and drink industry all year round.

We champion the best local producers, suppliers and businesses that are passionate about the Cotswold countryside and the future of our local environment.

Thanks to both the nominations of the public and our well-respected judges, we have picked a winner worthy of the ‘Local Tea/Coffee Shop of the Year Award’, sponsored by Emporium.

This year’s finalists

Henry’s Coffee House, Minchinhampton

Judges praised Henry’s Coffee House on its quality and the range of coffees and teas they serve. The Coffee House had an inviting ambience and judges would be keen to visit again.

Roots Coffee & Community, Gloucester

Staff at Roots Coffee & Community were said to be clearly dedicated to the concept of the establishment – providing a very welcoming atmosphere and judges noted the fact that lots of the fresh products were homemade.

And the winner is...

Cafe au Chocolat, Tewkesbury

Café au Chocolat impressed judges with the variety of choice they had on offer and the fact that local produce was used where possible. Service was deemed as excellent and the staff very informative.
