Archant

Are you always on the hunt for the perfect Flat White or Americano in Cheltenham and the Cotswolds? Whether you like your latte fair trade, decaffeinated or crafted from locally roasted coffee beans – we pick 9 favourites to fill that caffeine craving

Jaffe and Neale, Chipping Norton

Enjoy homemade Aga-baked cake and watch the bustling activity of Market Square pass you by over a hot cuppa in Jaffe and Neale. If your addiction to coffee is as strong as your love for reading, the café is part of an exceptional bookshop too.

Moka, Cheltenham

Moka can be found in the heart of the Suffolks in Cheltenham. An independent, family-run coffee shop, expect a selection of fresh, made-to-order coffees and a seasonal and varied lunch menu.

Huxleys, Chipping Campden

Huxleys is the perfect location to catch up with friends over a cup of freshly ground coffee. The building is over 500 years old and the décor is suitably charming. Snuggle up in one of the many leather chairs in front of the roaring fire.

Huffkins, the Cotswolds

There are five Huffkins bakeries located across the Cotswolds so you’ll never be far from a hot cup of coffee and a delicious piece of cake. On the menu is home baked bread, cakes and confectionary right through to hand blended teas, wood roasted coffees, preserves and hampers.

Star Anise Arts Café, Stroud

Enjoy regular music, poetry and theatre events whilst sipping on a cup of one of many specialist coffees on the menu at the Star Anise Arts Café. The vegetarian menu boasts delicious croissants and bread, baked daily, to accompany your drink.

Cotswold Artisan Coffee, Cirencester

Tucked away amongst the historic streets of Cirencester and run by a barista with plenty of specialist knowledge in coffee; you can expect fantastic flat whites and luxurious lattes at this popular coffee house - the salted caramel brownie is a must-try too.

The New England Coffee House, Stow-on-the-Wold

Located in a traditional and charming Cotswold building, the New England Coffee House specialises in good cups of coffee and top notch customer service. The interior is cosy and inviting, so settle in with a full-flavoured latte and while away the afternoon.

Keith’s Coffee Shop, Cirencester

The coffee beans are ground to order at Keith’s, so you know you’ll always be getting a fresh cup of coffee – our favourite is the chocolate praline coffee. Not only are the prices modest but the décor is charming and quirky with plenty to keep you occupied during your coffee-stop.

Coffee #1, Tewkesbury

There are plenty of comfy leather sofas in store for you to curl up with one of Coffee #1’s individually decorated lattes and marvel at the shabby chic interior, complete with a well-stocked book shelf and plenty of room for pushchairs. There are a plethora of tasty cakes on offer too – we love the enormous teacakes!
