With Wimbledon fever gripping the nation, Rose Hill Westonbirt decided there was no better time to host its inaugural Westonbirt Tennis Open, which took place on Wednesday 27th June.

Open to Year 4 children and using the 'Orange Ball Format' four schools took part, RHW, Grittleton, Tockington and Red Maids'.

A total of 24 matches were played using the 6 courts available at RHW. The matches were competitive andlively but there was an excellent sportsmanship throughout and all the players had a great afternoon of tennis.

RHW were the ultimate winners on the day with 10 wins from their 12 matches - many congratulations to the team!

The recently launched RHW Tennis Academy is open to all current and prospective pupils and has bespoke packages to suit every player's needs, so if your son/daughter is a budding tennis player, do let us know if you would like further information.
