Local Schools add up for Maths Challenge 2012

On Thursday 10th May, in conjunction with Westonbirt School, Rose Hill Westonbirt hosted the inaugural Year 5 Maths Challenge in the schools' Orangery.<br/><br/>Over 20 schools took part, a great mixture of local state primaries and independent schools


On Thursday 10th May,in conjunction with Westonbirt School, Rose Hill Westonbirthostedthe inaugural Year 5 Maths Challenge in the schools Orangery.


Over 20 schools took part, a great mixture of local state primaries and independent schools, some coming from as far a field as Chepstow, Moreton in the Marsh and Cheltenham!


95 children spent a fun packed afternoon solving all sorts of intriguing maths challenges and the day was topped off with a scrumptious tea.


Congratulations go to the winning pupilsfromSt. Gregory the Great, butfantastic efforts from Rose Hill Westonbirt pupils certainly paid off,with two top teams finishing 7th and 15th out of 43!
