Park Gallery, Montpellier, Cheltenham

Saturday July 1 marks the opening of Cheltenham’s newest, brightest and trendiest art gallery

Park Gallery brings a great blend of modern, abstract and contemporary original art from a host of carefully selected artists, many of whom are local to the area.

As well as a great selection of fine original paintings, Park Gallery also displays a fabulous range of handmade glass, ceramic and bronze casts.

If you are looking for the perfect gift you won’t have to look much further than Park Gallery. The gallery prides itself on having that special something for that special someone and also features a great range of cards, organic candles and leather gifts.

Everything in the gallery has been personally selected by gallery owners Steve and Claire who also own a sister gallery in Weymouth called Cove Gallery. “Cheltenham is our home town and when the opportunity came up of opening a second gallery in Montpellier we jumped at the chance” said Claire. “We both love Cheltenham.”

“When we opened Cove Gallery we found that many people found art galleries a little intimidating and we set our stall out at making everyone feel welcome and comfortable to come in and browse” said Steve. “After all, everyone has an appreciation of beautiful things and we try and create an environment where they can enjoy the experience as well as treat themselves to something that really takes their fancy.”

Gallery Manager Caz Blair looks forward to welcoming you when you visit the gallery in Montpellier Avenue, between Montpellier Gardens and Imperial Gardens. Details of the gallery’s opening times can be found on their website here.
