“It’s especially pleasing that our experienced lawyers are recognised so highly for our work in the region for the second consecutive year and edition of Chambers UK’s High Net Worth Guide.”

A new and independent Guide to UK lawyers who specialise in working with private clients, has named Stratford upon Avon firm Lodders as the best in the area for the second consecutive year.

Lodders has been consistently ranked as a top tier firm by the Chambers main annual UK Guide for more than twenty years, and this latest edition of its newer High Net Worth Guide to UK law firms and solicitors dedicated to advising private clients, continues its top honours for the firm.

The 2018 Guide gives Lodders’ private client team the highest Band 1 recognition of law firms in the whole of Coventry and surrounding area.

Furthermore, it describes the team as ‘clearly experienced practitioners’, as ‘a quality offering’, and as being ‘well regarded in the private client market, and which wins praise for its ‘quality of offering’ and ‘safe pair of hands’.

The Chambers UK’s High Net Worth Guide also gives special recognition to three members of Lodders’ private client practice, describing each of them as ‘notable practitioners’ in their field.

Martin Green, head of Lodders’ private client department and the firm’s senior partner, is described as a ‘very well respected private client lawyer’, as having ‘a very good reputation in the marketplace’ and as being ‘well respected by his loyal client base’.

Also named as a notable practitioner is Stephen Brignull, a specialist in trusts, Capital Gains Tax, estate and Inheritance Tax planning. The Guide describes him as ‘technically excellent’ and as well-known for his expertise in tax and estate planning matters.

Also named as a notable practitioner is Lodders’ Louise Igoe, an accomplished adviser to private clients, who trained and qualified at the firm and became its youngest ever partner at 30. Louise is praised for her quality advice on a variety of matters including wills, probate and estate planning, and her frequent work with farming estates and family businesses.

Commenting on the private client practice’s latest top rankings, Martin Green said: “Chambers is recognised for its integrity, independence and objectivity in researching and finding the very best lawyers in their fields, and its High Net Worth Guide is dedicated to identifying the country’s very best private client legal practitioners.

“It’s especially pleasing that our experienced lawyers are recognised so highly for our work in the region for the second consecutive year and edition of Chambers UK’s High Net Worth Guide. It is worthy recognition of the talent, exceptional work, client service and quality of advice provided by the firm and its individuals each and every day.”

He adds: “Numerous of our sector and service specific teams have consistently received recognition and top rankings from the Chambers UK Guide, and for the private client team to be identified as the best in the local area for the second year by the Chambers UK’s High Net Worth Guide is a fantastic achievement that reinforces our sustained performance, comprehensive legal skills and exceptional service offering.”
