Hazlewoods are delighted to announce that their charity of the year for 2017/18 is Scoo-B-Doo, Supporting Neonatal Care at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

Scoo-B-Doo raises funds to provide equipment and essential items to support the neonatal unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in caring for sick and premature babies from Gloucestershire and beyond. Over 80% of the equipment used every day has been funded by Scoo-B-Doo, helping to ensure the babies are given the best possible care.

As ever, Hazlewoods employees are rising to the challenge of finding ways to raise money for their chosen charity of the year. Of note so far this year Director, Suzanne Headington, completed the Arena Chill Swim Coniston 5.25 mile end-to-end swim in a fantastic 3 hours 13 minutes and 39 seconds. Suzanne raised in excess of £1,300 for her efforts and is just one example of the many employees who stretch themselves to raise money for others.

John Lucas, partner of Hazlewoods Social Committee, said “We are delighted with how our staff strive to give back to the community each year. We have a long track record of raising significant funds for local charities and we are pleased to help Scoo-B-Doo in 2017.”
