Green cleaning gets thumbs up from Theo

PUBLISHED: 14:59 18 July 2013 | UPDATED: 14:59 18 July 2013

A Cotswolds-based firm has received a virtual business boost from ex Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis. Amy Bedford, owner and director of Green Hills Cleaning, tweeted Theo about her business during “Small Business Sunday”, a weekly initiative set up by Theo to support small businesses on the ever popular platform of Twitter.

On Monday night Theo then re-tweeted Amy’s winning tweet “@TheoPaphitis We have doubled our turnover & our staff in last 9 months. Going to do the same in the next 9... http://greenhillscleaning.co.uk to his 370,000+ followers and, as a result, the business has gained over 100 more followers on Twitter and generated lots of interest in their organic cleaning services. They are now also profiled on the SBS website exclusive to Small Business Sunday winners.

Amy said, “We’ve been in business since 2010 and I still work from home. However, we have doubled our turnover and staffing levels in the last 9 months with plans to continue our drive forward. It’s great to have our efforts recognised by Theo and have the support that comes with joining the #SBS family.”

Green Hills Cleaning Limited specialises in high quality organic cleaning services using zero chemicals. It offers domestic, business, end of tenancy and holiday let cleaning, accompanied by a comprehensive laundry and ironing service. Areas covered include Cirencester (and villages), Lechlade, Faringdon, Burford, Carterton, Highworth and North Swindon.

Anyone looking for a re-tweet from Theo Paphitis should tweet him about their business on Sunday evening between 5pm and 7.30pm and include the hashtag #SBS. Six businesses are re-tweeted every Monday at 8pm and invited to enter their profile on the #SBS website.
