Class People shortlisted for two industry awards

Lynis Bassett, CEO of Class People, says: “To be recognised again by leaders from the recruitment industry is extremely encouraging, particularly as we have always classed ourselves as educationalists that have learnt recruitment.”

Class People is celebrating success after being shortlisted under two categories at this year’s national IRP Awards.

The Gloucestershire based business recruit supply teachers, TAs and early years practitioners, placing them into schools and settings in and around the South West.

Following on from being shortlisted at the renowned Recruiter Awards in May and Gloucestershire Business Awards earlier this month, Class People will return to the IRP Awards later this year hoping to take home the Best Company to Work for trophy after being Highly Commended in 2016.

We believe in making a positive contribution to education, business and the recruitment profession and being shortlisted for this award is a real indication of our teams’ hard work and dedication.”

Ellis Thorne is shortlisted for ‘Best Newcomer’ after thriving in his first year of climbing Class People’s career structure. Ellis has surpassed all expectations and jumped from a trainee to senior role in just 14 months, with support along the way from management and colleagues.

Lynis continues: “I am exceptionally proud of Ellis and how much he has achieved in such a short amount of time. We have been building and growing our team and this year I feel truly proud that Class People is a great place to work with a team who are passionate and enthusiastic about education recruitment.”

Winners will be announced at the IRP Awards on Wednesday December 6 at the Park Plaza in London.
