Witney Business & Innovation Centre announces Stephanie Henwood as Centre Manager; a key appointment to mark the centre’s success as local businesses continue to take advantage of the professionalism, cost benefits and flexibility associated with licensed office space.

Originally from Witney, Stephanie joins the Oxford Innovation team at Witney BIC from Clarendon Business Centres in Oxford where she worked for four years as Centre Manager providing excellent customer service and operational support to tenants in addition to managing business development.

Witney BIC has recently witnessed a serge in new tenants and enquiries following publication of its price comparison data in association with Benedicts, which revealed its flexible license solution to office space saves businesses more than 50 per cent, compared to costs associated with a traditional office leased in Witney.

Commenting on Stephanie’s appointment, Centre Director, Margaret Hewitt, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Stephanie on board. She has a wealth of experience that will benefit our current tenants and will be based at the centre full time to ensure we continue to offer a professional and flexible service.”

Stephanie will also be on the judging panel for the 2014 West Oxfordshire Business Awards as the centre is sponsoring the new business award for the first time since the awards established four years ago.

“It’s fantastic to be working with local businesses in Witney,” comments Stephanie Henwood, Centre Manager, Witney BIC. “I went to school at Henry Box and also studied at Abingdon & Witney College so I’m pleased to be able to use my skill set in the place where I grew-up to help benefit Witney businesses.”

Stephanie continues: “I’m also very much looking forward to engaging with the new businesses who enter the Witney Business & Innovation Centre New Business Award as it will be a chance to reward those who have excelled this year and deserve recognition from the West Oxfordshire business community for their hard work and achievements.”

Located on the Windrush Industrial Park, Witney BIC offers many benefits for new and small business owners who are unable or do not wish to commit to a traditional lease and is also part of a network of centres managed by Oxford Innovation, the UK’s leading operator of innovation centres.

Centre landlord, Blenheim Palace, recently invested in the refurbishment of 2,500 sq ft of additional office space, following the increased level of interest in the centre.

Witney Business & Innovation Centre has offices that vary from 100 sq. ft. to 3,000 sq. ft. as well as a choice of virtual and shared office packages with access to meeting and conference rooms.
