Growing Gloucestershire Conference

Registration is open for early bird tickets for this year’s Growing Gloucestershire Conference which will be held on Wednesday 29 June at The Growth Hub at the University of Gloucestershire, Oxstalls Campus in Gloucester.

The business conference which attracts around 200 local business people every year, aims to provide a platform for professionals to come together for a day to learn from some of Gloucestershire’s finest speakers, and to share best practice and provide networking opportunities with other business owners and managers.

David Owen, Chief Executive of GFirst LEP said: “The Growing Gloucestershire Conference is a great opportunity for local business people to learn more about topics that are of direct interest to their business, through the motivating themed seminars that are run throughout the day. Now in its twelfth year, the conference brings businesses together to share skills and make key business connections within the local community.”

Open to anyone from any sector or industry, the conference will be themed around talks on financial management, people, marketing and management. It will also have two key note speakers and a social media master class.

Growing Gloucestershire Conference Chair, Simon Wall encourages people to save the date and to take advantage of the early bird booking. He comments: “We’ve received outstanding feedback from those who attended last year and have some exciting speakers in store for 2016. We look forward to welcoming Gloucestershire business professionals to an even bigger and better event.”

Feedback from previous years has been well received with many sharing that the day provides a ‘great balance of topics and people’ as well as ‘excellent networking’.

Leighton Jones, Head of Marketing & Communications of Campden BRI Group, who attended the 2015 conference shared: “The mix of delegates and presentations from across a broad spectrum of topics makes Growing Gloucestershire a great event to pick up valuable tips and make new contacts. It’s also got a good practical focus – sparking ideas I can put to good use quickly.”
